Flanders Metals Day at Aurubis & Umicore in Olen
On the 29th of March, for the first time, Flanders Metals Valley organized a combined Flanders Metals Day in 2 companies. As the plants of Umicore and Aurubis in Olen are interlinked and located just next to each other, these two Flanders Metal Valley members joined forces and opened their plants for 60 of our members.
Both companies are specialized in transforming metal concentrates, scrap metals and metal-bearing recycling materials into metals. More...

The Sampling – Sorting – Characterization seminar at Veolia
On the 10th of November, Flanders Metals Valley organized the "Sorting/Sampling/Characterization" seminar with a guided visit through the Veolia Belgium & Luxembourg installations in Ghent.

Flanders Metals Valley takes an exciting new leap forward by appointing a full-time coordinator
After having celebrated its first anniversary on the 25th of May 2022, Flanders Metals Valley (FMV) takes the next big step forward. FMV’s activities have now grown to such an extent that a full-time coordinator is needed. In order to support this growth, Mr. Kristof Nelis has been appointed on 08/08/2022 as the new coordinator of Flanders Metals Valley.
