Flanders Metals Day at Lybover

Last week, the Flanders Metals Valley network was invited to one of our proud member, for a wonderful site visit. Lybover, located in Waregem, treated us on a glimpse into their history, present and future.

After a warm welcome by the company’s CEO, mr. Filip Boels, the company’s Business Unit Manager Recycling, mr. Bart Vanpoucke, explained how Lybover turns the most complex engineering challenges into elegant and inventive solutions by combining cutting-edge technology with a contemporary management style.

Next up was Rémy Demyttenaere, Sales Engineer Projects and part of Bart’s RECYCLING team. He zoomed in on one of those challenges. As we all know, industries are opting more and more for recycled materials. This shift will have a significant impact on various sectors, including manufacturing and recycling. Rémi explained how Lybover can provide effective strategies for overcoming the challenges associated with this transition.

We continued the introduction with a tour of the offices and production facilities. We ended the afternoon with a VR demo and networking moment.
