Aurubis Beerse is one of the world’s largest tin recyclers and is a recycling company with a clear focus on valorizing complex non-ferrous materials by bringing metals back into the value chain. This is done by using various metallurgical processes and technologies to recycle and refine complex, low-value recycling materials into non-ferrous metals, metal products, and minerals. The company was founded in 1919 as Metallo-Chimique N.V. and currently employs approx. 450 employees. As one Aurubis, we aim for a green future full of sustainable possibilities and solutions.
Aurubis refines copper, nickel, and other metals essential for Europe's energy transition through sustainable recycling of consumer scrap and secondary materials. Building on a rich metallurgical tradition, we participate in Flanders Metals Valley to create a fully circular and climate-neutral metals industry. Our commitment at Aurubis is to reduce our ecological footprint, promote sustainability, and make a positive impact on the environment and society, contributing to a more sustainable future.
