Production Engineer at Aluminium Duffel

At Aluminum Duffel, our team of 1,000 employees give their best every day to serve customers in the automotive and construction industries. Our company specializes in the production and sale of aluminum rolling products. With a total production of no less than 200,000 tons per year, we are the leader in Europe.

To do this, we work with state-of-the-art technology, including the largest cold rolling mill for the automotive industry in Europe. Almost everything we produce in Duffel is tailored to the requirements of our customers.

As a production engineer you are an indispensable link in realizing our ambitious goals. You actively participate in the improvement of our KPIs in the areas of safety, quality and productivity. Your analytical view and problem-solving abilities make you the hero we need!

  • Achieve KPIs: Your superpower is analyzing data and proposing improvement projects to achieve our goals. You implement these projects and make sure we achieve our goals.
  • Problem solving: When production problems arise, you are the hero who comes up with creative solutions. The introduction of new products and materials is also in your hands.
  • Training and guiding: You provide training to your colleagues on safety and optimal working methods so that everyone is up to date with the latest procedures.
  • Quality assurance: You assess non-conforming products and customer complaints, and take the lead in carrying out corrective actions. Together we ensure satisfied customers (internal &external)
  • Support: You will work closely with the Operations Director and Production Manager to achieve our operational goals and strengthen the strength of our team.

Profile

  • You have a Master’s degree in industrial sciences or engineering sciences.
  • Several years of relevant experience is a plus, but recent graduates are also welcome.
  • You are hands-on, communicatively strong and have the ability to inspire and convince others.
  • With your analytical mind and passion for improvement, you are always looking for ways to optimize processes.
  • Result orientation, efficiency and quality come naturally to you.
  • You are a natural planner and organizer, with leadership qualities that set you apart from others.
