Mechanic at Aluminium Duffel

At Aluminum Duffel, our team of 1,000 employees give their best every day to serve customers in the automotive and construction industries. What will you do?
- As a mechanic, you are fully committed to performing mechanical maintenance on the foundry installations
- You perform mechanical repairs during preventive maintenance on the installations.
- You perform preventive maintenance and repairs in Refractory/Inductors and Foundry tools.
- You provide support during breakdowns of foundry installations.
- You participate in projects for improvements to or new construction of installations.
- You actively participate in safety
Profile
- You have good mechanical knowledge and you can read mechanical drawings.
- You have thorough knowledge of assembly, construction, connection techniques and professional knowledge in the following disciplines: piping, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics.
- You are prepared to learn other techniques for the various sub-tasks (welding, brazing, soldering, aligning machine parts, …)
- You are communicative and like to work in a team. You can also work independently.
- You have a problem-solving approach.
- You are willing to learn about EMC casting and conventional casting as well as refractory techniques.
