Electromechanic technician (organic coating line) at CRM Group

Your main responsibilities
- The person will join the team in charge of the process development of pre-painted steel lines within the Industrial Solutions Unit, on the CRM Group’s LERO pilot line as a Line Technician.
- The pilot line on which the person sought will work is continuously adapting to the various tests and projects to be carried out. The person sought will be in charge, with the rest of the team, of the preparation of the tests as well as their realization (logistics, handling, sample cutting, etc.). Experience in the field of coil coating and industrial electricity is a plus.
- During the tests, the person will initially be the relay of the technician responsible for the paint application systems on the line. Eventually, it will become autonomous and will take care of these elements during the tests.
- As part of the test preparations and adaptations of the pilot line, the person sought will be in charge of actions of a mainly mechanical and electrical nature: he or she will also be responsible for the sizing and maintenance of certain tools and will be in charge of the follow-up of the associated orders.
- The person will eventually be required to manage construction sites (drafting specifications, managing subcontracting, etc.).
- Finally, the person sought must be able to travel to Europe on an occasional basis to meet suppliers or customers. English will often be the language of communication used. In tandem with the project managers, the person will be required to write documents such as technical documents, order forms,… in both French and English.
Your profile
- You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in an industrial environment or you have a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics
- You have knowledge of computer tools (word, excel, outlook, etc.), CAD tools are a plus.
- You are fluent in French, knowledge of English is a plus.
- You are a team player, flexible, self-starter and the ability to carry out your tasks independently.
- You are in possession of a B permit.
