Digital Innovation & AIQ – SL SLAG MODELLING

Join our Digital Innovation and A.I. team and help build the factory of the future. Engage in
real production process data and implement tools to intelligently drive production. Embark
on a journey on the crossroads between Artificial Intelligence and Metallurgy.

For this internship you will assist in creating a self-learning model that uses historical data
to estimate the effects of different parameters on the lead content in slag. In a next stage
you will use this model to actively change parameters to improve the slag composition.

Main tasks

• Analysis of data quality and availability
• Multivariate statistics on input parameters
• Machine Learning model to accurately model the SQL slag
• Process Optimal Control implementation

Who will you work with

• You will be mentored by our internal Data Scientist allowing you to grow during this
  internship in both technical and soft skills
• You will be part of our Digital Innovation & AI team

Profile

• You currently study in the field of Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence
• You have good communication skills and like to solve complex problems
• You always carry safety, environment, and quality in high regard.
• You speak, write and read proficient in English and/or Dutch
