Chemist / metallographic laboratory technician at CRM Group
You will work in the Materials Characterization Unit. It is a research support department including a chemistry, metallography and surfaces laboratory as well as mechanical property tests. A support service means that we work on all the themes of the CRM Group, which are: steel, materials science, circular economy and material recycling, additive manufacturing, green energy production, building materials,…
To carry out your missions, the CRM Group focuses on continuing education in companionship for its employees.
Your main responsibilities
- Characterize products from research projects according to appropriate methods, interpret the results obtained, produce test reports and ensure the capitalization of the results.
- Participate in the development of working methods and/or analyses to be able to meet the varied demands of our internal and external customers.
- Ensure the maintenance, calibration and evolution of work equipment.
- Actively participate in the CRM Group’s safety and environment policy.
- Ensure the maintenance and evolution of the quality management systems that are ISO 9001 and 17025.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree (A1) in chemistry or mechanics with an interest in both fields;
- You are a good team player, flexible, rigorous, have a spirit of initiative and the ability to work on different projects in parallel
- You know the sense of organization and reflection to work in a chemistry laboratory in line with safety rules
- You are motivated to continuously learn new things in the field of materials
- You are curious and want to invest in innovation related to the energy transition and the challenges of our time.
- You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of English is an asset
